My SQL server doesn´t start with this protocol installed (I don´t have VIA harware)
Solution:
I went into that option SQL server Configuration Manager, in there under SQL Native Client Configuration are Client Protocols and in there should be VIA, right click and disable.
But when the SQLserver service starts, VIA protocol change to enable.
Is possible desinstall VIA protocol from SQL installation in Cluster?
Thanks in advance

I don't believe it's possible to uninstall it. If you could, you'd never be able to connect that server to anything else.

I wouldn't mess with this. Uninstalling things from a cluster can be tricky, and I'm not sure it's worth messing with.
You don't want things enabled that you don't need, or even installed, but I'd be wary about removing them, especially something like this.
If you don't have an endpoint listening on here, you should be ok.

I have exactly the same problem, although I disable the VIA protocol, it's been set to "enable" as soon as I attempt starting the SQL Server, and this one then fails because of VIA.
Any idea to workaround this ?

OK, found it.
You need to run the following command (with SQL2005):

cluster res "SQL Server" /removecheck: "Software\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQLSERVER"
This then enables you to start your SQL Group. Once SQL Group is completely online, disable the VIA protocol on both nodes through SQL Server Configuration, and that should be it.
