  I have been trying to find recommendations for optimal page file sizing, especially on SQL Servers.

  I want to create a new SQL cluster with two servers and 16GB RAM each. By default this will create a 24GB page file. Does anybody have any reference materials that discusses OS optimization for SQL Server?

  Generally speaking, SQL Server uses tempdb instead of the page file.
