I have SSRS installed on my SQL Server 2005 server, however, I noticed that the ReportServer and ReportServerTempDB databases are not existing. I don't know what happened to them. What is the best way to get them - I do not have any backups. I thought I could reinstall SSRS but it apperas that I cannot uninstall it without uninstalling SQL Server Database Engine. Any ideas? Can I do a backup from another server and restore them to this one or will that corrupt something? Any thoughts are appreciated

What does the Reporting Services Configuration Manager say? In Start -> Programs -> Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - > Configuration Tools. I believe you can install the databases from here as well if they show as not installed.
Restoring from somewhere else is a major pain as you would need the Encryption Key and restore that as well. If the DB's never installed you won't have an encryption key.

Ok thanks. I checked the configuration and had the databases created from there. I did get an error that the virtual directory must be created but the databases are there now. I need to read up on the Reporting Services and what the virtual directory is all about. I am an newbie at SSRS. Thanks for your help
