Reporting Services and CPU Utilization at 100%

  • We have a lot of SQL reports being run through subscriptions every night. Most of the time, they run in about an hours time and everything is fine. However, sometimes, the process gets slowed down and the reports get backed up. When we come in in the morning, the server is running at 100%, but if we turn off the Report server service, it goes down to between 0-10%. When we turn the service back on again, it once again goes back up to 100%. My quesiton is if there is anyway to remove these reports that are backed up from running? Which table are these reports in so that it knows to generate them? Any help would be appreciated. (We are currently on SQL 2000).

    Thanks,

    KJ
