hi,
Can any body help me resolve my problem.
in my sql server 2000.
there are two databases sales,hr.
By mistake i have restored sales database instead of hr some other backup file.
i dont have any backups of sales database.
there is no sales.mdf and sales_log.ldf files in system.
is there any possible to restore sales database.
please mail me.

You won't like this:
No database files and no backups means no way to recover.
That is quite a mistake as it takes a bit of effort to restore one database over another with a different name. Sorry.

Nothing you can do unless you have a backup. If you have logs, I'd save them off immediately. You might be able to replay some of the transactions, or at least gather some data from them to reconstruct things that might be missing.
