Unable to drop publication

    I have sql2005 server with 3 publications. The distribution database is 2.1 GB in size. There is 1.5 GB in available disk space. If I try to remove a publication I receive an error of inadequate disk space and the removal fails. The distribution transaction log has ballooned and taken up all available disk space. What can I do to remove these publications?

    try to run backup log with no_log to clear the log and than try it
