Reporting Services is slow when running through web

    I have a created a very simple report to become familiar with SSRS. When run through the Visual Studio development environment response time is more than acceptable, when I run the report through the reporting services web services, the report takes minutes to run. Any ideas where to start?

    I sometimes find reports take longer to run - you need to tune/optimise reports just the way you'd tune any other sql - try setting the reports to generate/create themslves so you always read a cached report - much quiicker.
