Database Diagrams in SQL SERVER 2005 Express

    Hello everyone:

    Having trouble installing database diagrams for Northwind, Pubs, MyCompany, AdventureWorkd DW.

    I received a error message...."Database Diagram Support objects cannot be installed because this database does NOT have a valid owner. To configure, First use the files page of the DB Properties dialog box  OR the 

    "ALTER AUTHORIZATION" statement to set the database owner to a valid login.

    I am a newbie and rookie so can someone give me a precise recipe to solve this problem Thank You

    right-click on the database from within SS Management Studio, pick Properties, then files.  You should then see a box in the top right with the DB owner account (in your case should be empty).  Click the ... icon and associate an existing user to it.
