I am in need of a copy of SQL Server 7.0 to install. If you know of a place web or FTP I can download with working link please advise me. I have searched the internet for almost 2days and found nothing. I have StarTeam Server 4.2 and it will not run with SQl Server 2000 or newer, So I need 7.0. Please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks Lowell N.

SQL 2000 /2005 is backwards compatible with SQL7, so I'm not sure why you think you have to use 7...you can set db compatibility to 70 and use 2000 or 2005.
you can easily test with any of the express versions as well.

alternatively, why are you committed to this particular, out of date version of the software (4.2)?

Well because my company was in the mist of a very slow move from StarTeam to Team Foundation Server and well I just started 5 months ago and well they haven't copied over all their source code from Start Team to TFS so we need it back up to get our source code off it, the source code is invaluable to the company.
