MSDE and operating system connection limits on 2K and XP

  Hello,

  I have an MSDE database that will be installed on either XP Pro or 2K.

  My understanding is that there is a 10 connection limit on XP and 2K but these are in relation to things like the file services, IIS or RAS etc and not via connections made with TCP/IP sockets to the database. Am I correct in my understanding or will I need to insist on a 2000 server or 2003 server for the 20 or so clients that wish to read data from the MSDE database?
