Hi,
I have backed up a version of a SQL Server 2005 database from my home computer and now I'm trying to restore it to a db on my machine in work.
RESTORE DATABASE [DB_NAME] FROM DISK = N'F:\DB\20070717_H.bak'
This then prints out the below
The media family on device 'F:\iPM\DB\20070717_H.bak' is complete. The device is now being reused for one of the remaining families.
But remains like that for an indefinite amount of time - i've tried running it for up to 3 hours. This is a tiny db so far, so 3 hours is crazy.
I have tried copying the .bak file to a location on the C:\ and ran the same restore command with the new location. This resulted in the below error
Msg 3132, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
The media set has 4 media families but only 1 are provided. All members must be provided.
Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
RESTORE DATABASE is terminating abnormally.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

I got this working now. When I looked at the script output of the Backup I saw that I had a number of other filenames in there too. Once I got rid of these (and used WITH FORMAT) it has worked.
