Has anyone else run into a problem with sending emails on a subscription? It tends to say, "The e-mail address of one or more recipients is not valid." This particularly happens when it's to a recipient outside of the company...
Advice?

Gloria,
It never worked for me. We created a group in Windows and use that group for sending emails via subscription. I assume Reporting services is using smtp server to direct the emails.
If you find a solution, let me know.

I found the solution! ![]()
All you have to do is go to the SMTP server properties and grant access to the server to relay through its own IP Address.

We had the same problem, all we did to fix it was adding the ip-address of the report server in the trusted ip adresses for relaying setup on our mailserver.
