Backend MSAS 2005 and Front End RS 2000 Issues?

  Client has RS 2000 running with AS 2000 and SS 2000 backend. 

  If installed on separate servers, can RS 2000 send MDX/receive results to/from MSAS 2005?   Has anyone done this as part of a migration from 2000 to 2005?

  Any guidance is appreciated.

  Used OLEDB for OLAP 9.x from RS2000 and it worked fine in test.  Now for the data processing extension for web service...
