application role

    Hi,

    I'd like to know how to dynamically assign roles to database users within a Java program.

    What do you mean by dynamically assign roles. Do you mean someone picks a role in a program and then you assign it?

    It's no different between Java/VB/etc. You would call the stored procedure to assign or remove a role from a user.
