Virtual Cube and Non-Shared Dimension

    I'm sort of new to anaylsis services so bare with me.  I am trying to make a virutal cube, however one of the dimensions that needs to be used is not shared.  So selecting anything other than all will not display data for the cube that doesn't have the dimension.  I was thinking about putting a "dummy" dimension in the other cube, but having that dimension just doesn't make sense.  This is for a report in Reporting Services, that needs data from two different cubes.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

    You could try using a Lookupcube statement.  These work pretty well when you have some common dimensions, just need to watch for query speed impacts.  Take a look at the following URL for a simple example.
