SQL doesn''t release memory after backup

  hi all,

  when i backup the DB with the enterprize manual the SQL memory going up and then the SQl release .

  but if idoing it through the SQL DMO the sql doesn't release the memory  

  it can be stack even after restart

  Can you post your code with regards to the backup. Make sure you close any objects you opened just for the backup process.
