Moving SQL 2000 to a new server

  I am trying to move an entire SQL Server 2000 database to a brand new server.  I created the new database in SS2000, then ran DTS and got all the data; however, I'm missing everything else... sp's, jobs,..., etc.  In newbie terms, how do I get everything else transferred to the new server?

  I tried creating a backup of the old db on the old server, but I'm not able to see it when I try to restore it to the new db on the new server.  There has got to be an easy way to do this, right?
