Hi all,
Do you guys know if I can reinstall enterprise evaluation version on the same OS when it is expired?
I tried today to uninstall it first and then reinstall it, failed to confige server, I can find some error message in log file like:
driver ={sql server}; server = MYSERVER; UID = sa; PWD =;database = master
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets] General network error. Check your network documentation.
Is this problem from my Windows XP system or the SQL Server evaluation version, 120 days passed?
fun

When you install the eval edition it makes a registry entry. So unless you track down that registry entry and remove it - your computer knows that it already had that loaded and the time expired.

Hi.
I've brought some cheap SQL Server 7 books from a car boot sale
Unfortuantly there are no CD roms.
Is there a site where I can down load SQL Server 7 Evaluation, for me to learn on.
I've been using MS Access and SQL since 1997.
But now need to gain experience in SQL server.
I would be very grateful
