    Dear Friends,

     I have a problem, which is

            I want to write a program, which is I connect to Oracle DB by MS Link Server tech: of MS SQL, how can I control by vb code with ado object.

    My main target are -

         1. Oracle DB record lock by vb with ADO Connection Object

         2. When I read record, this record lock exclusively.

    Please help me urgent,

    Let me make sure I'm understanding what you're trying to do.

    You want to lock records and control record locks in Oracle through the linked server connection from SQL Server? And you're trying to do this from Visual Basic? Is this correct?
