  I just recently got sql server 2000's(sp3a) sqlmail configured with microsoft outlook 2000 sr-1 using pop3/smtp server. Everything looked like it works fine except for the simple fact that when I try to send mail using xp_sendmail, it is sent to the inbox on the server itself, instead of the person I address it to. Has anyone had this problem or know why this is happening?

  there are issues with SQL2000 and OUTLOOK 2000. u need to search on MS KB site. There is an article on this issue.
