sysperfinfo

    i want to get data from table master..sysperfinfo but it's no data. please help me howto store performance counter into it.

    Check SQL Server errorlog to see message like "Performance monitor shared memory setup failed: -1". If you do, you need hotfix.

    Which SQL Server version and service pack do you run?

    Hi Allen,

    thanks for your advise, In company used SQL Server 2000 production version 8.00.760 (sp 3) run on windows2000 cluster. I try to install SQL Server on local machine and check on table sysperfinfo have data for counter. I suspect why on proction no data in table sysperfinfo but on windows performance have counter for SQL Server and i checked SQL Server Log no error ""Performance monitor shared memory setup failed: -1".
