@@servername returns to Null after reboot

  • I have a w2k server running SQL Server 7. This server is a replication distributor. After a reboot, @@servername becomes null, which pretty much requires me to blow away replication fix @@servername and set up replication from scratch. However, another reboot causes the problem all over again.

    HELP. Not sure what I'm missing here. Any suggestions at all are appreciated.

  • When it happens, what do you have listed in sysservers? Can you pinpoint what happened prior to the problem beginning? Why is it tied to replication?
