@@servername returns to Null after reboot

  I have a w2k server running SQL Server 7. This server is a replication distributor. After a reboot, @@servername becomes null, which pretty much requires me to blow away replication fix @@servername and set up replication from scratch. However, another reboot causes the problem all over again.

  HELP. Not sure what I'm missing here. Any suggestions at all are appreciated.

  When it happens, what do you have listed in sysservers? Can you pinpoint what happened prior to the problem beginning? Why is it tied to replication?
