Sorry to bother but how do I set up the xp_sendmail on the server. Total noggin here hoping for someone to deliver the goods. Thanks

1) Set up an Exchange account for your SQL mail to use
2) Install Outlook on your SQL server
3) Set up a mail profile for your SQL Mail account (Control Panel, Mail)
4) In SQL Server Enterprise Manager, under Support services, right click SQL Mail, select properties. Select your new mail profile. Test. Save.
5) Right click your server name, under Server settings, check that the new profile is selected. If not, select it and save.
6) Lastly, under Management, right click SQL Sever Agent and select properties. Ensure that your mail profile is selected. Make sure that you check "Save copies", otherwise later on down the road you will run into a bug which will disable SQL Mail from sending any mails.
I'm not sure what order #4, 5, 6 must be done, or if you do it in one spot that it carries over to the others. But check anyways.
