Builtin\Administrators are by default member of Sysadmin role

    As per my understanding Builtin\Administrators are by default member of Sysadmin role. For my SQL 2000 DB which is in Mixed mode when I execute sp_helpsrvrolemember, the result does not show builtin\admins at all but when i execute "select * from sysxlogins" i have builtin\admin listed there. So my question is, does in this scenario builtin\admins have any kind of login to my DB if so what role/privilege they can have?

    As long as you have the Builtin\Administrators account in SQL Server, anyone who is a member of that role will have SysAdmin access to that instance of SQL Server.
