Hi there,
I gather the info from online that I need to pass the following exams:
70-431
70-450
70-453
in order to upgrade my MCDBA 2000 to 2008. Is that correct? Any confirmation response would be appreciated. Thanks:D

See here for all certification info - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/certifications.mspx
To upgrade MCDBA to SQL 2008 MCITP (DB Admin), you need to first get the SQL 2005 MCITP (DB Admin), as there's not direct upgrade path from 2000 to 2008 exams.
To upgrade MCDBA to SQL 2005's MCITP (DB Admin), you need two exams - Exam 70-431 (MCTS SQL 2005) and Exam 70-447 (Upgrade exam for an MCDBA)
To upgrade the SQL 2005 MCITP(DB Admin) to SQL 2008 MCITP(DB Admin), you need one exam - 70-453 (Transition your MCITP Database Administrator Skills to MCITP Database Administrator 2008.)
