Hello, friends,
I created a new user for a database in sql server 2000. We have thousands of stored procedures. Since this new user does not have permissions to any of them, I have to click one by one to give this user EXEC rights in Database User Properties/Permissions window.
This is really ridiculous!
Is there a way that we can do this smarter? Thanks a lot.

Hmm, you might want to move this to the SQL 2000 Administration forum.

Moved to SQL 2000.
You should never do this. You should create a role and assign permissions to the role, then assign users to the role.

There are scripts on this site to assign permissions for all stored procedures to an account or role.
