Managing multiple clients

  • Hi,

I want to know the opinions on a particular scenario

I have multiple clients running software of mine using web services at the back end to deal with database. All the clients have the same requirement currently so database design and implementation is same for every one.

My question is is it good that I keep single global database for every one or should I go for multiple databases for each client? What would be the goods and bads for both of the scenario?

Remember that database will be situated at one site.

    Kind regards

    Muhammad Mutahar Alam

  • I suppoes the question is...How do your clients feel about that situation.

  • A single database is enough because it is designed for multiple users.
