Does anyone have this functionality working properly on their sql 2005 box? We are trying to send emails from Database Mail to alphanumeric pagers provided by Rogers Communications.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I can send mail using database mail perfectly well but always have to specify an "email address" in the recepient. In the past the alphanumeric pagers I have work with *have* and email representing the account.

the email address we are using for the pager is: 10digitpagernumber@paging.rogers.com . For example 4162282457@paging.rogers.com . the email does get through to the pager but arrives in a mangled up format that cannot be read...

That is a "provider" issue. You need to contact them!
