Service Pack 2

  • Hi

I just installed SP2 on two of my development servers yesterday and subsequently several of my scheduled jobs failed with the following error:

    Message

Executed as user: XXXXX. The database owner SID recorded in the master database differs from the database owner SID recorded in database 'XXXXXXX. You should correct this situation by resetting the owner of database 'XXXXXXX' using the ALTER AUTHORIZATION statement. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 33009).  The step failed.

Easily fixed of course, but has anyone else experienced this?  I'd be interested to know if you've got to the bottom of why it happens?

  • haven't installed it on anything with jobs running. Try installing the 3161 hotfix. you have to call MS for it
