  Hi All,

  I am trying to transfer SQL server db to IBM DB2 but when i tried creating connection on SSIS i am getting following error:

  "test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider"

  I have downloaded oledb driver for db2 and installed on my local system. Also i have installed client version of DB2.

  Can anyone help me with this as in how can i resolve this issue?

  My ultimate aim is to transfer the existing database from SQL Server 2008 R2 to IBM DB2.

  If you create an .udl file on your desktop, can you succeed in creating a connection to the DB2 database?
