Connection Failed.

    Hi,

    I am getting the following error messages often in my devlopment evironment "Can not show request dialog. failed to connect to server Devss2345 . A connection was successfully estabilished with the server. but then an error occurred during the login process.(Provider: shared memory provider,error:0 - no process is on the other end of the pipe) (Microsoft sql server,error:233)".

    But i can open new session if i close any existing session of the server and same time i have not opend more three on the server.

    Can you update your feedback on this to resolve this issue ?

    Need to do this basic thing

    1) How are you connecting (Application connection string or Management strudio)

    2) Try to connec to SQL server from management studio with the same credential (Remote\Local)

    3) If it failed by both the way then see the SQL error log for more specific error. Share the same with us.

    4) Also want to know the connection string ur using pls share with us

    5) Check the tcp/ip Port configuration and let us know in detail

    It is difficult to say what could be the possible reason without detail information

    Thanks for your reply. its related to connection limitation setting. we found and resolved this problem.
