adding node to sql 2005 cluster

    hey all - i have a basic question that i wanted to ask...i need to add a second node to an existing single node sql 2005 cluster. i understand its done as an change from the existing node, but does this require an outage on the existing node, or can the second node be added without any impact?

    I have never done this myself, but would assume that it would require SQL to restart. You said you had a single node cluster.... What happened to your second node?
