I'm a relatively new beginner, but i already have to setup a system where an email is send when replication fails. So i read some things and:
* set up database mail & necessary things
* i'm able to send a test email
* but ... i don't get the email when i (as a test) force the replication to fail (break network connection)
What i did:
* replication monitor
* warnings and alerts tab => configure alerts
* item "Replicatoin: agent failure" => configured it to send email to my address
No email arrives when testing, and when i check the database mail log, no item is added.?
Please, what am i missing? All i want is an email when the replication could not be done?
