Difference database mirroring and replication

    Hi, I'm confused between database mirroring and replication. Can anyone explain to me the difference? Does it have to be on the same server? Is it possible to replicate a database to another server? Thanks

    Two very different features. Both really for working across servers, thought it's possible to replicate within an instance
