Monitoring tools comparison

    Gurus, We are trying to evaluate monitoring tools for SQL 2000 Server clusters. We are looking at SQLSentry and Spotlight. Can you guys give your experience with these tools, which one is better than the other.

    Never worked with SQLSentry but had used Quest Spotlight in couple of projects and its pretty good. Only bad is that it won't store any historical data. Or let me phrase it here, it stores, but that is of no use.

    But for real time monitoring I would recommend it.
