As always, the problem with these "this post was the solution" features is that the next post, or one twenty posts later, may very be a better solution, or may point out a horrible flaw in the accepted solution, but most people will read "the solution" post, accept it as "right", and not benefit from further discussion on the subject.
I see a lot of that in forums all over the place.
