SQL Server 2005 and SSL

    Hi Everyone,

    I have been asked to investigate connecting our Application with SQL Server 2005 using SSL. Our application uses an ADO connection to hit the database – all the articles I have read on the web refer to ODBC – can anyone tell me whether it is possible to use SQL Server with SSL for ADO?

    I am struggling to set up SSL, I have imported a free trial certificate I downloaded from verisign using MMC on the SQL server machine but when I try to set a certificate using the SQL Server Configuration Manager the list of certificates is empty... anyone have any ideas where I am going wrong?
