I have a cluster with several named instances.
I need to minimize the initial size of the primary TempDB file. So, I need to log in in minimal configuration.
As it it a named instance, I need the SQL Browser to be running in order to find the named instance. And I think the Browser connects to the named instance and is the ONE login permited... And I can't login!!
Without the browser, I can not find the named instance.
So??
Thank you

so manually specify the port in your connection, then you dont need SQL Browser's help!

Even when I connect "directly" by naming the IP and Port, I can not log in.
When I start in nomal mode and go to Activity Monitor, I see there 3 Processes : 2 of them are mine and one is from Windows OS Cluster Service.
My question is: this process from OS Cluster Service does a log in?
