    Can anybody provide me sql server 2000 & sql server 2005 enterprise edition CD to install at my laptop or from where I can get it in chennai?

    enterprise? no, that would be illegal. standard and enterprise are all purchases, and often involve thousands of dollars in licensing.

    developer edition costs 50 dollars on amazon.com, and allows you to do all the advanced stuff the Enterprise Edition does so you can test your setups.

    google "SQL 2000 free","SQL 2005 free","SQL 2008 free" and the first couple of links will take you straight ot hte free downloads from microsoft.

    you can install the free versions, which allow you to develop and learn how SQL works, though.

    You can download (160 days) trial version from Microsoft site. It is enterprise edition.
