Hi Gurus,
Current job market expecting an SQL DBA should have enough knowledge in Windows System Admin side too. Just wondering, what are the areas should aware of a DBA on Windows system side? :w00t:
Can you please share your thoughts that would be highly appriciated.

pure guess:
A basic knowlegde on Active Directory (add/remove users, trusts between domains, consulting performance counters/event log, security settings) besides some basic pc troubleshooting.

Besides the above, plus Network, Security.....

it actually depends on your environment
Currently in my environment, i have network admins that handle all of that.
But if you dont have network admins, then basic knowledge is a must
