I am having problems getting reports to work that were built on one machine and deployed to another. When I go to the production server via the reports page and run a report, I get the following error:
An error has occurred during report processing.
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource'.
For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors
I'm pretty sure it's a rights issue, because I can change the properties to "Credentials supplied by user running the report" with "Use Windows credentials when connecting to the data source", I can enter my domain user name and password and it will run the report. But when I try to use "Windows Integrated Security" (my preference) or "Credentials stored securely in the report server" I get the above error.
Any ideas?

hi,
when you create the data source and give username and password with the connection, please tick the box which says save your password. It gives a problem in connection when you dont tick that box.
i hope it helps.
