Failure to connect to SQL Server via ODBC

  • Hi

    I am running Microsoft Server 2003 Standar Edition and MS SQL Server 2000. Client work stations get authentication from the Domain Controller and access the SQl Server through ODBC. My challenge is that when I change the Administrator password on the Domain Controller, ODBC, from client work stations, fails to connect to the SQL Server using a trusted connection, unless I log in as sa into SQL Server, which is impossible as I have a lot of client workstations. Surprisngly, when I change back the password to its old one, ODBC connects to the SQL Server without any problems. The following is the error message I am getting from ODBC when the password is changed;

    "Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Version 03.85.1117

    Running connectivity tests...

    Attempting connection

    [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Cannot generate SSPI context

    TESTS FAILED!"

    Can somebody out there help me, as I need to change the password.
