SQLservr.exe comsume 260 MB memory

    Hello Room,

    My sql server 2005 is consume 260++ MB memory usage.

    Is that normal? I experienced a long time to create a database with size 20Gb ++

    Any advise?

    sorry you need to be more precise. which version/edition are we talking - what memory has your server - how is sql configured and finally how are you measuring memory use?

    If it's through task manager - don't it doesn't give the right answer.
