SQL Agent on Windows Vista

    Hi all,

    I created maintenance plan.

    When I consulted SQL Server Agent job history logs for details.

    And I have this message :

    [298] SQLServer Error: 15404, Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'xxxxx\xxxxx', error code 0xea. [SQLSTATE 42000] (ConnIsLoginSysAdmin)

    I have similar config on my Windows Xp Pro and its works.

    My two services on XP or Vista start with Local System account.

    Have you got an idea ?

    Hi,

    To fix this problem, you can use 1 of 2 options:

    1. Run the job using the 'sa' account.

    Or

    2. Run the SQL services under an Domain\Username account. The local system account that it is currently running is the reason for the error you are getting.
