DTS Connection

    I am already using the UNC paths...the remote server that I'm accessing has limited user access and I need to use a specific username and password to get to the shared directory.  I've even set that username up in SQL.

    Use UNC paths and Windows security instead of mapped drives.

    Did you check if the remote property on the remote server is turned off?

    Did you check if the two servers are in different domains and a firewall is set in between?
