    BancVue, Ltd. which is located in Austin,TX develops and installs checking account management and customer profitability analysis software for financial institutions (banks and credit unions). 

     

     

    We are seeking a brilliant, experienced SQL Server DBA to help create and maintain an install based database application using SQL Server 2005 and VB.Net. Candidate will need strong database modeling skills and expert level TSQL development skills. This person must be able to design, code, test, document and implement database changes in a replicated database environment.

     

    Skills

     

    • Strong knowledge in T-SQL programming, Stored Procedures, User-Defined Functions, Cursors, Views etc
    • Strong understanding of security modeling and auditing
    • Familiar with HTTP listeners and other methods of data distribution
    • Ability to export and import data from/to various formats like delimited raw/text file, MS-Excel, XML, SQL Server, MS-Access. Ability to transfer data between various databases
    • Using CLR integration with stored procedures, functions, and triggers in the .Net Framework
    • Various XML features in SQL Server 2005 including knowledge of XPath and XQuery
    • Ability to perform all common Database Administration (DBA) tasks like performing database backups and recovery, managing database users and security, Database Server Administration, etc.
    • Experience with VB.Net a plus

    Great posting, but I think you left out one key piece of data. You may get better results by telling where the job is located.

    I see that BancVue is located in Austin, TX. Is that where the position is located as well?
