Has anyone used either Red-Gate SQL backup or Lite speed for SQL server by Quest? We are thinking about purchasing on of these products and would like to hear pros/cons of using one of these products.

We use LiteSpeed and i couldn't be happier with it. It works great, turns a 47GB backup into a 14Gb file and takes a lot less time to perform the backup.
The only downside I see is the work you have to do to take a LiteSpeed archive and restore it on a SQL Server that doesn't have LiteSpeed installed. You have to expand the backup (using a utility supplied by LiteSpeed) on the server with LiteSpeed installed, then copy the resulting backup devices (one for each processor you used to perform the backup) to the other SQL Server, then restore from there. Not a huge deal, but it can be a pain.
