MDX - Custom Member Formula - Please help

    I am trying to create a Custom Member Formula which uses members from another dimension.

    Lets say I have 2 dimensions A and B

    What I want to create a custom member which calculates B1 = A1+A2

    Is this possible?

    I think I red somewhere that Custom Member Formulas can only contain local members from the current dimension.

    Please help…

    I've not done it for this type of problem, but i can't think of any reasons why you couldn't use the LOOKUPCUBE function back to the same cube (i've done this, it works) and pass the correct params to get the values for the members in the other dimension.
