  Hi Folks,

  Just joined this wonderful forum.

  But with a irritating problem.... The problem is that our SQL mail has stopped functioning because the mail platform has changed from Exchange 5.5 to E2K and the domain of the E2K server is differed and is not trusted by us and vice versa, moreover the user name of the our Id has also been changed in the new platform.

  Now, in this scenario the SQL agent service is not able to interact with the new Exchange 2000 server in with a different domain.

  So, just wanted to know the alternative solution to this.

  Either get an account that can authenticate or change to SMTP.
