When using VBScript in a DTS package (ActiveX Script Task) does there have to reside a VBhost on the machine (Where SQL server 2000 is running) or something else of VB-stuff...?
Not as far as I know...the ActiveX task should execute. If it isn't, you should check the permissions of the user under which the task or package is being executed.
